About the Founder
Adelene Joanes
I am a devout Christian with a deep love for children and a commitment to their well-being. I firmly believe that no child should ever endure suffering. I aspire to see all children protected, supported, and thriving with smiles on their faces.
Because of this, I took the initiative to address the needs of children who lack familial support by founding a dedicated foundation. The foundation’s mission is rooted in seven key pillars to ensure holistic care and long-term impact:
-
Social Rehabilitation
-
Rescue vulnerable children from the streets and provide them with a safe and nurturing environment.
-
Address their essential needs, including food, clothing, and healthcare, to ensure their well-being.
-
-
Access to Education
-
Send children to back to school or provide vocational training to prepare them for meaningful employment.
-
Offer scholarships and essential educational materials, such as books, uniforms, and school supplies.
-
-
Psychological and Emotional Support
-
Provide therapeutic services to help children overcome trauma and challenges they have faced.
-
Encourage personal growth through counseling and positive activities.
-
-
Family Reintegration
-
Collaborate with families to rebuild relationships and support the reintegration of children whenever possible.
-
Where reintegration is not feasible, work to identify foster families or establish community-based alternatives.
-
-
Independence Training
-
Train children to be independent by developing life skills, including financial literacy, vocational expertise, and problem-solving capabilities, to foster self-reliance.
-
-
Protection of Children’s Rights
-
Advocate for the rights of vulnerable children and promote reforms in public policies related to child protection.
-
-
Community Awareness
-
Conduct public education on the plight of street children to encourage community participation in addressing the problem.

Joint Statement of our Leaders
We are all concerned, destined, and determined to fight to improve and change the lives of our children around the world today who will become our leaders in the future. Hence, we strive to fight poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, and famine worldwide to save human lives and contribute to improving the conditions of others’ lives. As leaders, apart from our share and deep implication, we draw the attention of our sponsors and partners to reach out and join us to share our vision and have courage, strength, determination, and conviction of Center For Happy Children to successfully achieve our objectives and accomplish our mission. We make our joint statement as follows:
Joint declaration
Despite all these statements, without conscientious, caring, and diligent people, all our orphaned children, fathers, and mothers who are disadvantaged, abandoned, and hungry will never be vulnerable and doomed not to reach their thirties in Haiti. Let us join hands to change their lives and save a few today.
It is with good reason that:
Like leaders, our managers and partners have agreed to work as a team, determined together to ensure that our decisions are consistent with the commitments made to “change the lives of our children
